National Directory's online business directory includes both Free and Sponsored Listings business listings.
We charge for Sponsored Listings because they have more features and also receive greater exposure throughout our website including the home page and category pages and on social media.

Sponsored Listings receive:

• Free Facebook promotion, all new listings will appear on our National Directory.com.au facebook wall;
• Free Twitter promotion, we will tweet about your business to all of our followers.  
• Priority listing – Sponsored Listings appear up the top of search results (limit 2 businesses per post code per category).   The default search results are listed alphabetically in National Directory search, with Sponsored Listings promoted to the top of search results. Also our Sponsored Listings can select multiple postcodes and categories and so feature in more optimised search queries.
• Exposure on Home Page and Voucher Mail email Newsletters
• We also offer Free 1 hour support to Sponsored Listings which business owners can use to request us to update their listing.

Your business Listing will not be published on the site immediately as it can take up to 5 business days for our database to update and to verify your business details.

You can add content to your listing including a description, images, videos, voucher and more all for free from within your Online Business Centre.

You can also manage and update your listing at any time, securely from your Online Business Centre.

Because not everyone is proficient in using the web, and most people have no idea about SEO, National Directory also provide email support for any technical issues with Standard listings.

You can manage your Business Listing safely and securely anytime you want by logging in to your  Online Business Centre. You can update Content 24/7 , edit User Details and purchase a Sponsored Listing or Applications.

If your business is already on National Directory but you haven’t claimed it yet, can click  "Business owner? Edit / Free Upgrade" in the top right-hand corner of your business listing page.

We will verify to ensure you are in fact the business owner prior to publishing the updated listing details.

In order to provide accurate and comprehensive information about Australian businesses please keep in mind the following:

• The business name should be the registered Business name or sole trader name. We may request proof that you are the business owner and you may be required to provide documentation to substantiate your ownership claim.

• A business can only have one type of listing per business. You can only have another listing under another physical location if you have an office, franchise or place of operation in that location. Proof of this will be required.

• Each listing requires a business name, physical Australian address (no PO Boxes) and phone number. An email address is advisable if you have one, as is your web address.

If for any reason you don’t want to display your address it can be suppressed.

• If you want to market beyond your physical address you can purchase a Sponsored Listing.

• If you’re a mobile business you cannot purchase a listing for each location you cover. Our advertising services may be the best fit for your business. Contact info@nationaldirectory.com.au to find out more.

We will verify to ensure you are in fact the business owner and that the business has in fact ceased trading prior to removing the published listing details.

If you do not want your company to be listed in our database because, for example, it no longer exists, please contact us by e-mail at info@nationaldirectory.com.au. Your business listing will be completely removed from our database. The deletion process can only be done by our staff.

Businesses who list with us have access to a discounted photography rate - a service which we are proud to offer as part of all our listings. You are also given access to high quality versions of all photos and are free to use them in any promotional material you produce online and offline (there are no further licence fees!).
